Session Description:

Planning is a part of almost everything we do, even making cheap wine, but effectively managing projects requires decisive preparation. In this presentation, Kim Adam will share how she implemented project plans utilizing the PMI® guidelines to effectively manage DITA conversion projects. Applying these standards, norms, methods, processes, and practices has built a consistent management plan, demonstrated that approaching project management proactively rather than re-actively saves time, costs, and rework, and has created an environment of trust among all stakeholders involved in the project.
